Inspiring a legacy of unity, perseverance, and hope in the Sweet Auburn community.
We envision an Atlanta that invests in its neighborhoods and empowers all youth, families, and seniors to live, learn and thrive—preserving its historical legacy while ensuring its future through an equitable, social justice lens.

a Community Park
A green pocket in the city
Reflections Park is a planned oasis. Currently, this space is a small parking lot underneath the silhouette of the historic John Lewis mural in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood. The Butler Street CDC is working in conjunction with the Savannah College of Art and Design to bring to life this gem in the city.
John Lewis mural
Reflections park and the Historic John Lewis Memorial Mural are symbiotic. The parks design invites guests to sit, relax and contemplate in an intimate urban atmosphere encompassed by lush green accents in the presents of one of the greatest civil rights visionaries to have ever lived.
